Words have long been my thing.

In high school, I wanted to work for my hometown newspaper, so I doggedly called the editor every few days, asking to join the newsroom as an intern. That experience was more than a spark — it was the catalyst for nearly three decades of work in communications. I’ve written for local, regional and national publications and have edited the work of award-winning writers. I’ve crafted messages for executives and helped businesses position themselves for success.

So, I sort of know what makes a good story.

Over the past five years, I’ve been helping high school seniors write essays for everything for their dream schools and their safe schools. What I enjoy about this work is the opportunity to uncover untold moments, find clarity amidst chaos, and help everyday people share their stories.
